Deadline.com reports that Lesley-Ann Brandt is leaving the role of Naevia on Starz's SPARTACUS: BLOOD AND SAND. She played the slave role on both BLOOD AND SAND and its prequel SPARTACUS: GODS OF THE ARENA. The actress has a recurring role on CSI: NY and is circling several network pilots.
This is the second part in the BLOOD AND SAND second season that had to recast. Due to original star Andy Whitfield's cancer battle, the Spartacus role was given to Liam McIntyre for season two.
