m4e teams with Absolutely Cuckoo for CGI series ‘Wissper’

German brand management and media company m4e partners with London character design and animation studio Absolutely Cuckoo and Ireland’s Telegael to produce the CGI animation TV series Wissper

German brand management and media company m4e will partner with London character design and animation studio Absolutely Cuckoo and Ireland’s Telegael to produce the CGI animation TV series Wissper.

The adventures of a pint-sized animal whisperer helping creatures around the world were created by Absolutely Cuckoo’s Dan Good, who also created the landmark series Waybuloo. The 52 seven-minute episodes of the TV series will be written by Nick Wilson and production is about to start in May 2014.

First episodes will be delivered in the fall of 2015. m4e will bring its global licensing and distribution expertise to the table to make Wissper a truly global brand.

Wissper is a brand with great potential. It brings together an integrated licensing opportunity and the timelessness of a brand with a classic feel.” states Hans Ulrich Stoef, CEO of m4e AG.

“I am extremely excited to be working with m4e on our dangerously cute new series, Wissper,” says Dan Good, Managing Director of Absolutely Cuckoo Ltd. “We feel that there is huge opportunity for our little animal whisperer and we are very dedicated to delivering a series, commercially and creatively, with great passion and integrity. We cannot wait to introduce Wissper and her awesome animal friends to 4-8 year olds around the world!”

UK’s Milkshake is already on board as anchor broadcaster for the series that targets at 4-8 year old children.

Wissper is a regular, if sometimes quirky, little girl. Except for one little thing: She can talk to animals! She can sense their feelings, empathize with their problems and hear their voices. And the animals know this -- creatures of all shapes and sizes seem to instinctively know that when they have a problem, Wissper will find the solution. Wissper the animal whisperer is a natural hero for young viewers everywhere!
