Mark your calendars for the three-day event at Disney California Adventure Park beginning August 18, moving to Downtown Disney August 19-20; celebrate the entertaining music-filled stories of Disney Junior’s popular series.
“Disney Junior & Friends Playdate” is coming to Anaheim’s Disney California Adventure Park on August 18 and Downtown Disney District on August 19 and 20. The three-day event celebrates Disney Junior's popular series' fun, entertaining, and music-filled stories, bringing the “magic” straight to preschoolers and their families.
The celebration kicks off with a parade featuring fan-favorite Disney Junior characters and a special “Disney Junior Live! Playdate” stage shows. It starts August 18 at Disney California Adventure Park and continues at Downtown Disney District on August 19 and 20.
Highlights include:
“Playdate Party Parade” - features Disney Junior characters, including Mickey Mouse; Minnie Mouse; Doc McStuffins; Sofia the First; Elena of Avalor; Donald Duck; Daisy Duck; Vampirina; Winnie the Pooh; Tigger; Goofy; Pluto; and Mira; Royal Detective.
“Disney Junior Live! Playdate” – the special stage shows entertains young audiences with the world premiere of the new Disney Junior short-form series Playdate with Winnie the Pooh
“Alice’s Wonderland Bakery Unbirthday Party” - a lively, hands-on cupcake decorating course inspired by the Disney Junior series.
Photo opportunities and Disney Junior-themed treats at Marceline’s Confectionary.
- Additional photo opportunities include A Spidey and his Amazing Friends photo wall at the Hollywood Backlot in Disney California Adventure and a Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures photo wall at Downtown Disney.
- “Find-And-Seek Activity” featuring Junior-themed clues around Disney California Adventure on August 18 and Downtown Disney on August 19 and 20.
- Enjoy regular Disney Junior programming at Disney California Adventure, including the popular “Disney Junior Dance Party!”
