August 27, 2008 is a special day for BEN 10 -- and his U.K. fans. That's the day when the kid who can transform himself into a host of different alien super heroes makes his latest transformation -- into a major new magazine title.
As the U.K. fan base of Cartoon Network's star BEN 10 has grown, so too has demand for a dedicated magazine, and Egmont's new publication will give fans all the fun and facts they could want about the action-adventure animation series. The new title kicks off with two bumper 32-page specials called ALL ABOUT...BEN 10. The launch issue, which comes out in late August, will include an exciting disc shooter covermount and a fully branded BEN 10 Omnitrix watch. Issue two will appear later in the year offering a special covermount of toys and other fun items.
Additional content for the first special includes a BEN 10 comic exclusive to ALL ABOUT...BEN 10, a "create your own BEN 10 action scene," a "World of BEN 10" insight section, character fact files, BEN 10 stickers and giant poster. To meet the demand, the initial print run will be 80,000.
The regular magazine will appear monthly in early 2009, and like the specials, will include exciting materials that offer the perfect way for the young fan to become immersed in the world of their hero.
