DreamWorks Animation has just released a new trailer and a trove of images for Dragons: The Nine Realms Season 7, inspired by the popular How to Train Your Dragon franchise. Seven all-new episodes hit Hulu and Peacock September 14.
The show is set 1,300 years after the events of How to Train Your Dragon, in modern times when dragons are thought to be just a legend. When a geological anomaly opens an immense, miles-deep fissure in the Earth’s surface, scientists gather together from around the world. An unlikely group of misfit kids, brought to the site by their parents, discover the truth about dragons and where they’ve been hiding -- a secret they must keep to themselves to protect what they’ve found.
In the new season, as the threat of Buzzsaw looms over Rakke town, the Riders must get the Book of Dragons out of his malicious hands to protect Dragonkind. Sledkin’s dragonsite operation uncovers a new realm along with the formidable Glass Caster dragon. As tensions rise in Dragon Club, the heroes must band together to become stronger than ever as riders and friends.
