Casting News For Wes Craven's New Film

Henry Lee Hopper (Dennis Hopper's son), Denzel Whitaker, Shareeka Epps and Emily Meade have been cast in Wes Craven's horror thriller 25/8 for Rogue Pictures, per THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.

The relatively-unknown actors will be teens haunted by a serial killer who was supposed to have died 15 years earlier. The film's story takes place over the course of 24 hours as the small-town high school students try to uncover whom or what is stalking them.

Hopper will play the lead role of Bug in his acting debut. Craven wanted newcomers to avoid giving the audience an idea of who will die onscreen.

Craven met Hopper at a party for his godfather, Julian Schnabel, bonding over Hopper's passion of abstract expressionist paintings.

Production is set to begin in Connecticut in April.
