Paramount+ releases sneak peek of Part 2 of its exclusive ‘Pandemic’ event streaming December 16.
Maybe it’s time for a booster! COVID returns to South Park with comic vengeance as Trey Parker and Matt Stone poke fun as only they can do. First came the The Pandemic Special in September 2020, followed in March by the South ParQ Vaccination Special. Last month, the first of 2 exclusive South Park events, South Park: Post Covid dropped on Thanksgiving Day….
And now, just in time for Christmas comes South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid. So, put on your mask and check out the just dropped exclusive video and images from Paramount+. Then prepare yourself, as Part 2 of the exclusive event hits the streamer December 16.
If Stan, Kyle and Cartman could just work together, they could go back in time to make sure Covid never happened and save Kenny’s life. In South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid, traveling back to the past seems to be the easy answer until they meet Victor Chaos.
South Park the series launched on August 13, 1997, and is based on the VHS-shared, animated short entitled The Spirit of Christmas. Co-creators Parker and Stone are executive producers, along with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell, and Vernon Chatman are producers. Christopher Brion is the creative director of South Park Digital Studios.
The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios as part of an expansive deal with Parker and Stone includes extending South Park on Comedy Central through 2027. In addition to the series extension, the new deal includes 14 South Park original made-for-streaming events exclusively for Paramount+, including this year’s South Park: Post Covid and South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid.
