TV-Loonland Set to Launch Second Series For Little Princess

Independent, brand management company TV-Loonland announced that the second series of its critically acclaimed preschool property LITTLE PRINCESS, produced by The Illuminated Film Co., will premiere in September on Five's Milkshake! The 35x11 animation series follows the huge success of its first series, which launched on Milkshake! FIVE and FIVE Life in October 2006.

LITTLE PRINCESS is based on the international best-selling children's picture books by award-winning author and illustrator Tony Ross and is aimed at children 2-6. Presenting a child's view of life as the main character deals with things that young children like, dislike and worry about, the top-rated show has been sold in over 100 countries so far.

Olivier Dumont, Managing Director of TV-Loonland, comments; "With strong scripts and great production values, this endearing show has already proven to be extremely popular with young viewers. We are confident the second series will build on this success and appeal to an even wider audience, with a strong line-up of new episodes and adventures."

Plans for the property include two new book releases by Andersen Press, scheduled for Autumn 2007, which will bring the total number of LITTLE PRINCESS TV tie-in book titles to ten. The first eight titles sold 2.5 million copies worldwide within the first three months of publication. A comprehensive licensing program will also continue to be rolled out throughout the year and into 2008.
