PorchLight Entertainment, Emmy-award-winning producer and worldwide distributor of quality family programming, announced Tuesday that it is promoting Gary Jones to president.
Jones joined PorchLight as a senior vice president in early 2007 to oversee the launch of a home entertainment label for the company. Overseeing acquisitions, sales, marketing, and operations, Jones has built the PHE label from the ground up.
During its first year of operations, the company has enjoyed numerous hits with such award-winning titles as LEAPFROGS: A TAD OF CHRISTMAS CHEER, the WHEELS ON THE BUS series, the TRAVEL WITH KIDS series and the FARMKIDS series, among others quality programming.
Prior to joining the PorchLight team, Jones, a longstanding veteran in the home entertainment industry, held executive posts at New Concorde, Trimark and Republic Pictures.
