Cambridge, Mass. – September 8th, 2011 – Harmonix today released their first fully in-house iOS app, VidRhythm, a unique entertainment application that allows you to remix your world and make instantly sharable “video music” starring you and your friends. The app is available now in the App Store for $1.99 for use with iPad 2, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPod touch (4th generation).

VidRhythm uses the (front- or rear-facing) camera and microphone on your iOS device to put YOU into music videos. With 20 amazing tracks, including instantly recognizable songs like “Flight of the Bumblebee” and “Maple Leaf Rag”, VidRhythm injects your sounds and visuals into a variety of genres and styles and sets them against a variety of crazy backgrounds! Videos are sharable with one click to YouTube, Facebook or your device’s photo roll.
