Happily N'Ever Casts Spell on DVD and Blu-ray

HAPPILY N'EVER AFTER, with its fractured fairy tale antics, comes to DVD and Blu-ray Disc (Lionsgate Home Ent., $28.98, $39.99) this month. HAPPILY N'EVER AFTER is directed by Paul J. Bolger and written by Robert Moreland. The film was produced by John H. Williams (SHREK) of Vanguard Films, BAF Berlin Animation Film and BFC Berliner Film Companie, co-exec produced by Ralph Kamp and Louise Goodsill of Odyssey Ent., and exec produced by Rainer Soehnlein, ceo of BFC Berliner Film Companie.

Featuring a celebrity voice cast including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr., George Carlin, Sigourney Weaver and others, the film explores what happens to the inhabitants of FairyLand when "tried and true" stories are thrown out of whack and the fate of 'happily ever after' hangs in the balance.

In keeping with the film's theme of alternate endings, the DVD features customized menus allowing viewers to pick whether to get good or evil menu screens based on their responses to a series of multiple-choice questions. The menus are all also hosted by the film's breakthrough new characters, Mambo & Munk (voiced by Andy Dick and Wallace Shawn), who provide color commentary throughout the menus and the games. Both the DVD and Blu-ray disc cast a spell with a full slate of special features, including an alternate ending, seven deleted scenes, more than 40 minutes of featurettes, audio commentary, interactive games and more.
