DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg told analysts on Thursday that the company would "play it by ear" on its previously announced plan to release five features every two years, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Last year the studio was the first to release three CG features in one year with HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, SHREK FOREVER AFTER and MEGAMIND. This year the studio will release KUNG FU PANDA 2 and PUSS IN BOOTS, with MADAGASCAR 3, THE CROODS and RISE OF THE GUARDIANS slated for 2012. After that the studio doesn't have a firm release schedule set.
