EXCLUSIVE CLIP: Grammy Winner Macy Gray Gives Karaoke Tips on ‘Big City Greens’

In a special music-filled episode, ‘Okay Karaoke,’ the Green family gets some great Karaoke tips from the famed singer and songwriter; ‘Big City Greens: Don’t Think, Just Sing!’ digital soundtrack available on Disney Records February 5.

Grammy Award-winner Macy Gray's guest stars in a special music-filled episode of Disney Channel's animated comedy Big City Greens. In “Mages & Mazes/Okay Karaoke" Gray voices Kara Karaoke, the Karaoke restaurant owner who gives some great karaoke wisdom to her guests, the Green family.

The Emmy Award-nominated series, which was recently picked up for a third season, brings Big City Greens: Don’t Think, Just Sing! digital soundtrack to fans everywhere February 5 on Walt Disney Records. The soundtrack features six tracks including the popular "Stuck at Home" single and 5 original songs from this music-filled "Okay Karaoke" episode.

The series, created and executive produced by brothers Chris and Shane Houghton, follows mischievous and optimistic 10-year-old Cricket Green, who moves from the country to the big city with his wildly out of place family—older sister Tilly, father Bill and Gramma Alice. Cricket’s natural curiosity and enthusiasm lead him and his family on epic journeys and into the hearts of his new neighbors. The show’s voice cast includes Chris Houghton as Cricket Green, Artemis Pebdani (Scandal) as sweet Gramma Alice, Marieve Herington (How I Met Your Mother) as quirky older sister Tilly Green and Bob Joles (Puss in Boots) as hard-working father Bill Green. 

The special episodes premiere Saturday, February 6 on Disney Channel.

  • “Mages & Mazes” - When the kids play a role-playing game at Remy's, his rules lead to conflict.
  • “Okay Karaoke” – When the Greens go out for karaoke, Tilly struggles to decide what genre of music will best express her true self.
