Coming out of Comic-Con, Walt Disney Pictures has snatched up the film rights to Scott Christian Sava's graphic novel, PET ROBOTS. Benderspink's Chris Bender and J.C. Spink are developing the project with producers Jake Weiner and Jon Silk.
After visiting the Rooty Tooty Toy Company, four kids are followed by four military robots.
Animator Sava launched Blue Dream Studios in 2000, working on videogames such as SPIDER-MAN, X-MEN, ALIEN VS. PREDATORS AND CASPER THE FRIENDLY GHOST. As for TV animation work, he has animated for Fox Kid's Saturday Morning television shows MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS, DIGIMON, SPIDER-MAN and NASCAR RACERS. In 2006, the company expanded into publishing with titles such as ED TERRESTRIALS and THE DREAMLAND CHRONICLES.
