Box Office Report: Moviegoers Commit to ‘The Vow’

In third place, Warner Bros. and New Line's Journey 2: The Mysterious Island outpaced the 20th Century Fox 3D re-release of George Lucas’ Star Wars: Episode 1 — The Phantom Menace to gross $27.6 million.In fourth place, Phantom Menace opened to $23 million.

At number five, Fox's Chronicle held well in its second weekend, earning $12.3 million for a domestic total of $40.2 million.

Placing number six was The Woman in Black, from Momentum Pictures, which earned $10.3 million for a domestic total of $35.5 million.
