Bob Feldman to Head DreamWorks Animation Corporate Communications

Bob Feldman joins DreamWorks Animation SKG in Glendale, California, as head of corporate communications. DreamWorks Animation was recently spun off as a publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (DWA) from the private company DreamWorks SKG. Feldman reports to Jeffrey Katzenberg and Ann Daly, the company's chief executive and chief operating officers.

Feldman will be responsible for the development and implementation of all DreamWorks Animation communications programs and, as a member of the senior management team, will participate in setting the strategic direction for corporate image and consumer branding initiatives.

"Bob's expertise in public relations, experience with a broad mix of Fortune 500 companies, and strength in management all combined to make him a great choice for us," said Katzenberg. "We're a new company with an exciting future, and we're thrilled to have Bob on our team."

Feldman has been president/chief exec of GCI Group, one of the world's largest public relations firms, for nearly eight years. GCI, a unit of WPP's Grey Global Group, was marked by substantial agency growth and broad industry recognition. Feldman was previously with Ketchum and Burson-Marsteller, two other large, public relations firms. Feldman has counseled a diverse mix of clients on brand marketing and corporate positioning strategies, including Intel, Sony Ericsson, Visa, Lowe's, Dell, Universal Studios Florida and FedEx.

Feldman and his family will relocate to the Los Angeles area from his native New York City. Heyman Assoc., in New York, handled the search.

DreamWorks Animation SKG (www.dreamworksanimation.com) is principally devoted to developing and producing computer-animated, or CG-animated, feature films.
