Big Idea Productions, producers of the popular children's videocollection "Veggie-mania," are looking for a VICE PRESIDENT of PRODUCTION.The successful candidate will be responsible for the development andproduction of Big Idea animated properties; Have ownership and managementresponsibility for the entire animation studio and production process; Bechartered with creating distinctive and innovative products from companyassets; Be responsible for managing all aspects of the production process;Develop content; Have some oversight responsibility for internal creativetalent; Serve as a liaison on behalf of Big Idea Productions with otherjoint venture partners; Have full administrative, budgeting and managerialresponsibility for the production department; And be responsible for therecruiting, development, training and retention of staff. Qualificationsand Characteristics: The successful candidate will have 10 to 15 years ofprogressive experience in the production of animated entertainmentproducts; Have seasoned animation skills and 3D experience; Be extremelywell organized; Have good intuitive marketing sensibilities; Be anexcellent communicator; And have a mentor or coach personality inmanagement. A Bachelor's Degree is required. An advanced degree inanimation or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
