Warner Bros. & DreamWorks SKGs A.I. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, Steven Spielbergs futuristic tale about a boy robot (Haley Joel Osment), who dreams of being something more, finished at the top of the pack in this weekends box office. In its first weekend of release, the film took in an estimated $30.1 million. 20th Century Foxs DR. DOLITTLE 2 dropped one spot to #3. Starring Eddie Murphy, the sequel to the 1998 remake of the 1967 film about a doctor who can "talk with the animals," took in an estimated $15.4 million, for a two week cumulative of $51 million. Paramount Pictures TOMB RAIDER dropped to #4. The Angelina Jolie action-adventure flick took in an estimated $9.8 million, bringing its three week cumulative to $101.2 million. Disneys ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE dropped two spots to #6, taking in another $7.8 million, with a four week cumulative of $58 million. DreamWorks' CG film, SHREK dropped two spots to #7 with $7.1 million, bringing its seven week cumulative to $227.5 million. Buena Vista's PEARL HARBOR dropped to ninth place with $4.4 million, bringing its six week total to $179.4 million. Warner Bros.' SWORDFISH dropped four spots to the #10 spot with $4 million, bringing its four week cumulative to $60.5.
