Tricky Women 2011 - Call for Entries!
The 8th edition of Tricky Women AnimationFilmFestival will take place in Vienna 10th - 14th March, 2011.Tricky Women is the first and only festival of animated film that is dedicated exclusively to animation by women. The festival offers an international competition of animated short films realised by female artists and produced in 2009 or 2010.
The international forum Connecting Animation with its multimedia presentations and discussions provides information about the latest developments in the animated film market.
The deadline for applications for the preliminary selection is 30th October, 2010.Awards:Tricky Women Award of the City of Vienna worth 4,000 EuroSynchro Film & Video Material Prize worth 1,500 EuroHubert Sielecki Award worth 500 Euro (for Austrian animation)Audience Award
Awards and prize monies will go to the directresses of the films.
