The Blue Plum Animation Festival (BPAF) is part of Johnson City's annual Blue Plum Festival in East Tennessee. The festival will be held on June 3rd and 4th of 2005, and events will take place from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM each day. The festival is open to the whole family, and there is no cost to attend.
We are now accepting animations from students, independent artists, and industry professionals from anywhere in the world for the Blue Plum Animation Festival Competition. The deadline for entries is May 1, 2005. No entries will be accepted after this date. You may submit as many animations as you like, but please remember that each entry must be accompanied by its own entry form and entry fee. Fees are $25 for students, and $35 for independent artists and professionals.
The competition's categories include animations for children ages 3-12 and adults over age 13. These areas will be judged separately by a team of professionals from the industry, and winners will be chosen from each category. The animations will be shown during the Blue Plum Animation Festival and the winners of the competition will be recognized during the festival.
