Gypsy to Mark First Moldova Animated Feature
Chisinau-based studio Simpals has received five million Euros for its feature film GYPSY, making it the first feature production produced in Moldova, reports AnimationMagazine.eu. Russian firm STV Film is funding the film.
The picture will follow the day-to-day life of gypsies. The feature is based on a short film, written by Artur Mircea Mihai Cerari.
Simpals plans to hire 100 artists to work on the film, which it expects to take five years to complete.

Be that as it may, I'm very happy that this project is going ahead. Their work so far has been wonderful.
