In this third podcast recorded live at Ottawa’s St. Brigid’s Cultural Centre during the 2013 Ottawa International Animation Festival, Chris chats with Oscar-winning animation director Adam Elliot.

Known for his quirky claymation films, Adam Elliot is a highly acclaimed stop-motion animator who has collectively received over one hundred awards for his work. His films include shorts such as Uncle (1996), Cousin (1998), Brother (1999), Oscar-winning Harvie Krumpet (2003), and feature film Mary and Max (2009). Having been the first animated film to open the Sundance Film Festival, Mary and Max received numerous awards including the OIAF’s Best Animated Feature as well as the Annecy Crystal in 2009. As an independent animator, writer, and director, Elliot has founded his own production company called Adam Elliot Pictures to maintain his style and vision.
