Fans at the streamer’s San Diego Comic-com ‘Star Trek’ universe presentation got a first look at the last and final season of the series - coming early 2024.
Fans at San Diego Comic-com were treated to a sneak-peek clip from the upcoming final season of Star Trek: Discovery during the Paramount+ Star Trek universe presentation. The show features Sonequa Martin-Green as Captain Burnham and Season 5’s newest cast members Callum Keith Rennie as Rayner, Elias Toufexis as L’ak, and Eve Harlow as Moll. One of the streamer’s longest-running original dramas, the series will conclude with Season 5 in early 2024.
In Season 5, Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery uncover a mystery that will send them on an epic adventure across the galaxy to find an ancient power whose very existence was deliberately hidden for centuries. But there are others on the hunt as well … dangerous foes who are desperate to claim the prize for themselves and will stop at nothing to get it.
Cast members include Martin-Green (Captain Michael Burnham); Doug Jones (Saru); Anthony Rapp (Paul Stamets); Mary Wiseman (Sylvia Tilly); Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber); David Ajala (Cleveland “Book” Booker); Blu del Barrio (Adira); and Callum Keith Rennie (Rayner). Season 5 also features recurring guest stars Toufexis (L’ak) and Harlow (Moll).

CBS Studios produces the series in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman; Michelle Paradise; Heather Kadin; Aaron Baiers; Olatunde Osunsanmi; Frank Siracusa; John Weber; Rod Roddenberry; and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers. Kurtzman and Paradise serve as co-showrunners.

Star Trek: Discovery's new 10-episode season will premiere on Paramount+ in early 2024.
Star Trek: Discovery Seasons 1-4 are currently streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S.; the U.K.; Switzerland; South Korea; Latin America; Germany; France; Italy; Australia; and Austria. Seasons 2 and 3 are also available on the Pluto TV “Star Trek” channel in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. In Canada, it airs on Bell Media’s CTV Sci-Fi Channel.
