Max Teases Colin Farrell as ‘The Penguin’

The upcoming Warner Bros. Television and DC Studios 8-episode series continues Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’ epic crime saga with stories focused on the 'In Bruges' and 'The Banshees of Inisherin' star's Oz Cobb; streaming this Fall.

Max has released a new teaser for The Penguin starring Colin Farrell (In Bruges, The Banshees of Inisherin) as Oz Cobb (aka “The Penguin”). The eight-episode DC Studios drama series continues the epic crime saga that began with Matt Reeves and Warner Picture’s The Batman. The series is set to debut in Fall 2024.

Farrell stars alongside Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Clancy Brown, and Michael Zegen.

Reeves executive produces alongside Dylan Clark, Farrell, and Lauren LeFranc, who writes and serves as showrunner, Craig Zobel, who directs the first three episodes, and Bill Carraro.

Based on characters created for DC by Bob Kane with Bill Finger, The Penguin is produced by Reeves’ 6th & Idaho Productions and Dylan Clark Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, where Reeves and 6th & Idaho are under an overall deal. Daniel Pipski also serves as executive producer.

Studios contributing to the series’ visual effects include Aura FX Studios, Redefine DNEG, and SSVFX.
