Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ Takes Home 2024 BAFTA Craft Award

The epic fantasy series wins for Special, Visual & Graphic Effects; AMC Studios and Apple TV+’s ‘Silo’ wins for production design.

BAFTA’s Television Awards, a celebration of the best in 2023 broadcast television, took place yesterday, May 12. The BAFTA Television Craft Awards, which recognizes behind-the-scenes television talent of 2023, were awarded at an April 28 ceremony; awards were given in areas including costume design, editing, and makeup and hair design.

Since AWN missed the craft awards event a couple weeks ago, we’re announcing this morning that in the category of Special, Visual & Graphic Effects, Tim Crosbie, Caimin Bourne, Jet Omoshebi, Dan Weir, Cinesite, and David Stephens were honored for their contributions to Netflix’s epic fantasy drama, The Witcher.

Gavin Bosquet and Amanda Bernstein took home the award for best Production Design for their work on Silo for AMC Studios / Apple TV+.
