Linny, Tuck and Ming-Ming will have preschoolers shimmying and singing along in a Bollywood-themed half-hour THE WONDER PETS! primetime special, "Save The Bengal Tiger!," premiering Monday, September 8, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.

Capturing the passionate spirit of Hindi cinema, "Save The Bengal Tiger!" features critically-acclaimed Indian actress Nandita Das as the voice of the Bengal Tiger and siblings Salim and Sulaiman Merchant as composers of the musical score.

Kids To Choose Theme Song Of Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's

To kick off the launch of the YU-GI-OH! 5D'S series, fans will have the chance to help decide the show's theme song. From now until Sunday, September 7 at midnight, fans can listen to the eight options and vote at www.cw4kids.com. When the series debuts on September 13 at 10:30 a.m. (on The CW4Kids), the most popular theme song will be featured during the opening credits.

Emmy Winner Christopher Lloyd Joins Sci Fi's Mirabilis

Three-time Emmy winner Christopher Lloyd has joined the cast of Sci Fi Channel's upcoming four-hour fantasy/adventure miniseries MIRABILIS (working title). Lloyd will play Tesselink, a venerable senior elf and accomplished master of bloodsteel sorcery who aids his granddaughter Perfidia (Natassia Malthe) and a band of knights in their quest for the crucible that may save Mirabilis. He is best known for his roles as Emmett "Doc" Brown in the BACK TO THE FUTURE trilogy and as Reverend Jim Ignatowski on television's TAXI.

Cuppa Coffee Studios Launches Life's A Zoo.tv

Cuppa Coffee's highly touted stop motion comedy, LIFE'S A ZOO.TV is set to launch on TELETOON Canada's Detour Zone on September 1, 2008. Later in the year the SBS Australia premiere of the show is set to air. The show, which features a group of animals fighting for glory in a mansion in Saskatchewan, is aimed at the teens and up crowd and promises to deliver a hilarious new spin on the reality television genre.

Battlestar Galactica Two-Hour Event To Air In 2009

Sci Fi Channel will air an all-new BATTLESTAR GALACTICA special event in 2009, following the conclusion of the series It will then released on DVD by Universal Studios Home Ent. shortly thereafter.

Directed by series star Edward James Olmos and written by BATTLESTAR GALACTICA's Jane Espenson, the two-hour event will begin shooting in Vancouver at the end of this summer. The cast includes Michael Trucco, Aaron Douglas and Dean Stockwell, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.

Find Virtual Love In Virtual Loveland

Twentieth Century Fox is in negotiations to bring LOVELAND, a U.K. dating show with a virtual reality twist, to the U.S., per VARIETY.

The show is from Standing Stone Productions, the U.K. shingle launched in 2007 by FremantleMedia North America CEO Tom Gutteridge.

After watching the pilot, Fox reality chief Mike Darnell expressed interest in making an American version.

Apes Escape From Hawaii

Honolulu-based production company Hawaii Film Partners is producing an animated series called APE ESCAPE (38x2) for Nickelodeon's NickToons Network, airing later in 2008.

APE ESCAPE, based on Sony popular interactive game of the same name, is exec produced by Rann Watumull, Gina Watumull, David Jackson, Shauna Shapiro Jackson, and Fred Seibert and Kevin Kolde of the Frederator Studios. Konnie Kwak is producer. Karl Toerge (RATZAFRATZ) is the director. APE ESCAPE is being animated entirely at Hawaii Film Partners' animation facility in Hawaii Kai on O'ahu.

Honolulu-based production company Hawaii Film Partners has entered in to a partnership with the city of Changzhou in China and the Gagwon Information Multi-Media Corporation (GIMC) in South Korea to produce an original animated television series tentatively entitled GUARDIANS OF THE POWER MASKS. EUREKA, Sci Fi Channel's original dramedy series about a secret U.S. town inhabited by geniuses, led the cable pack ranking #1 in the key Adults 25-54 demo with last night's season three premiere (July 29, 9-10 p.m.).
