To kick off the launch of the YU-GI-OH! 5D'S series, fans will have the chance to help decide the show's theme song. From now until Sunday, September 7 at midnight, fans can listen to the eight options and vote at www.cw4kids.com. When the series debuts on September 13 at 10:30 a.m. (on The CW4Kids), the most popular theme song will be featured during the opening credits.

Emmy award-winning animated series, WORDGIRL, produced by Scholastic Media's animation studio Soup2Nuts, will return this fall for a fun-filled second year on PBS KIDS GO!.

Beginning September 12, 2008, WORDGIRL fans everywhere can tune in to vocabulary-filled adventures in 18 new episodes.

Disney will re-brand its Toon Disney television and online platforms in the U.S. to become Disney XD. The new brand will include a mix of live-action and animated programming for kids age 6-14, hyper-targeting boys and their quest for discovery, accomplishment, sports, adventure and humor. The transition will begin in February 2009 on television, online, mobile and VOD platforms.

This new innovative 3-D CG animated series debuts on qubo's broadcast blocks on NBC, ION Television and Telemundo on Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4 and follows the hilarious antics of Racerville, a wacky dog-filled community that's wild about racing.

Twentieth Century Fox is in negotiations to bring LOVELAND, a U.K. dating show with a virtual reality twist, to the U.S., per VARIETY.

The show is from Standing Stone Productions, the U.K. shingle launched in 2007 by FremantleMedia North America CEO Tom Gutteridge.

After watching the pilot, Fox reality chief Mike Darnell expressed interest in making an American version.

The wackiness ensues on season two of Nick Jr.'s Emmy award-winning animated preschool comedy series, WOW! WOW! WUBBZY!. The network will celebrate WUBBZY's return with a week of brand-new episodes from Monday, August 18, through Friday, August 22, at 8 a.m. (ET/PT), kicking off with the premiere of "Who's That Girl?"/"Wubbzy's Big Move."

WOW! WOW! WUBBZY! will air regularly Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nick Jr. and throughout the day on sister network NOGGIN.

Cartoon Network and Warner Premiere have announced the start of production on SCOOBY-DOO: IN THE BEGINNING, an all-new, live-action prequel that will be debut on the network fall 2009 to coincide with the DVD release. This original movie will commence principal photography on August 4, 2008 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Honolulu-based production company Hawaii Film Partners is producing an animated series called APE ESCAPE (38x2) for Nickelodeon's NickToons Network, airing later in 2008.

APE ESCAPE, based on Sony popular interactive game of the same name, is exec produced by Rann Watumull, Gina Watumull, David Jackson, Shauna Shapiro Jackson, and Fred Seibert and Kevin Kolde of the Frederator Studios. Konnie Kwak is producer. Karl Toerge (RATZAFRATZ) is the director. APE ESCAPE is being animated entirely at Hawaii Film Partners' animation facility in Hawaii Kai on O'ahu.

EUREKA, Sci Fi Channel's original dramedy series about a secret U.S. town inhabited by geniuses, led the cable pack ranking #1 in the key Adults 25-54 demo with last night's season three premiere (July 29, 9-10 p.m.).

Scoring a 2.1 household rating and an audience comprised of 1.426 million Adults 25-54, 1.301 million Adults 18-49 and 2.808 million total viewers, EUREKA enjoyed its most-watched performance since the series first premiered on July 18, 2006.

Syndicated epic fantasy series, previously known as WIZARD'S FIRST RULE, will officially launch as LEGEND OF THE SEEKER, it was announced Thursday at Comic-Con during a panel led by series executive producers Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert.

LEGEND OF THE SEEKER combines elements of fantasy, adventure, magic, mystery and romance, shot in New Zealand.

Spike TV's critically-acclaimed, funktastic anime series AFRO SAMURAI returns with an original movie event set to premiere on the network in January 2009. AFRO SAMURAI: RESURRECTION will have the voices of Samuel L. Jackson and Lucy Liu.

Award winning artist The RZA once again provides the original score. AFRO SAMURAI: RESURRECTION is produced by Japanese studio GONZO in association/partnership with GDH K.K. and FUNimation Ent.
