The 5-day September festival and TV animation conference, which features screenings, exhibits, workshops, and entertainment, invites Canadian creators to kickstart their animated series concept with the annual Pitch THIS! event – submissions deadline is June 16; kids ages 8-12 can apply to participate in the OIAF Kids Jury - submissions deadline is July 12.

The annual five-day event returns September 20-24; there are no entry fees, and artists worldwide are invited to submit through May 31.

Program ups the bounty for prospective recipients with new industry supporters, including Animation Focus, Animation Mentor, ArtStation, Autodesk, Foundry, and LAIKA, contributing workshops, tutoring sessions, software packages, hardware, and cash prizes for the 2023 cycle.

Representatives from industry-leading companies such as ILM, Framestore, Trixter, Rotomaker, Technicolor Creative Studios and Escape Studios will be on-hand to review portfolios and meet potential hires; event runs October 16-21 in Torino, Italy.

The event returns in-person in Manchester this November with screenings, panels, workshops, masterclasses, and studio talks across citywide venues.

Omniverse's expansive new features, revealed at this morning’s GTC keynote, include Omniverse Cloud managed services, Omniverse Kit connected tools and microservices, and Omniverse Exchange, a publishing portal for industry and purpose-built third-party solutions; the online conference runs through September 22.
