The grant furthers development of proprietary technology that combines live cross-reality entertainment with real-time VFX technology - delivering true XR experience to online audiences via headsets, gaming PCs, and video streaming services.

Deal brings together VFX company’s creative talent with XR studio’s volumetric and real-time development to enrich relationships and service offerings across film, episodic and animation projects.

The immersive VR short film, made completely in Quill, takes the viewer on a zany voyage through the protagonist’s dream that ranges from absurd to surreal.

Program includes sessions with director Glen Keane on the making of ‘Over the Moon;’ RISE’s Florian Gellinger and their first in-house productions, ‘Dragon Rider’ and ‘Stowaway;’ and MR. X’s creative team discussing the film adaption of ‘Monster Hunter’ video game; project submissions being accepted until February 22 for Animation Product Days.

The 16^th edition of the festival, being held October 8-17, is accepting submissions in the following competitive categories: feature film, short film, anidoc, student film, music video, children’s film, and VR film.

Second Grant the company has been awarded will accelerate development of BigRoom, their new collaborative VR tool.

Go behind the scenes with filmmakers discussing their animation projects; scheduled sessions include the production of Netflix’s first three animated shorts ‘Canvas,’ ‘If Anything Happens I Love You,’ and ‘Cops and Robbers;’ Baobab Studios’ VR Exploration Baba Yaga; and PaperBoat Animation Studio’s ‘Bombay Rose.’
