Start popping that corn… it’s summer, and Lucasfilm and the LEGO Group have a new animated special just around the corner; set shortly after the events of ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,’ the latest entry in the popular branded cross-saga storytelling hits the streamer August 5.
Lucasfilm’s new animated short film anthology showcases top animation producers from Japan, all huge ‘Star Wars’ fans, who’ve drawn upon their own heritage to create an exciting and beautifully designed set of stories, now streaming on Disney+.
The otherworldly series features nine stories by seven Japanese anime studios, all underscored by musical legend John Williams, set to release September 22 on Disney+.
