Phil Lord and Chris Miller to be honored for Outstanding Achievement in Animation for ‘The Mitchells vs. The Machines;’ hybrid event runs in-person and virtually October 23-30
33 films have been chosen for this year’s competition; festival, which runs August 11-14 in the village of Salamiou, will also feature a 20th anniversary tribute to Cypriot animation.
Veteran board member Sue Shakespeare named president; other appointees include Jerry Beck as VP, Brooke Keesling as 2nd VP, David Derks as 3rd VP, Jeff Wike as CFO, and Jeanette Bonds as secretary.
Submissions are being accepted in the international short film competition and the Cyprus National short film competition; the festival runs August 11-14, 2021 in Salamiou.
Special event features screenings of their complete film library, Q & A’s, exhibition of puppets and dioramas.
Screening and panel discussion to be held Thursday, February 23rd at Walt Disney Animation Studios Theater.
