Collaborators Jonathan Rothbart, Janelle Croshaw Ralla, and Michael Ralla talk incendiary shotgun shells, a blind assassin’s eyeballs, a CG dog, and hundreds of ring finger removals, on Chad Stahelski and Lionsgate’s shoot ‘em up in volume action-adventure. 

The visual effects studio's team, led by VFX supervisor João Sita and animation supervisor Fernando Herrera, delivered 200 shots that featured a bed that walks and floats, an animated stuffie named Pig, and a massive flying Canadian goose, on the fantasy adventure now streaming on Netflix.

Led by VFX supervisor James HattSmith, the studio delivers 360 shots filled with a wide range of expansive visuals on the Netflix dark fantasy that follows the journey of Morpheus, the King of Dreams, captured and held prisoner for over a century, who struggles to fix the chaos his absence has caused.

For Oscar-winning VFX supervisor Paul Lambert and SFX supervisor Gerd Nefzer, the seamless blending of live-action and CG on Denis Villeneuve’s stunning, epic adaptation of Frank Herbert’s seminal sci-fi tome grounded the film in a believable reality, fully immersing audiences in Paul Atreides’ hero’s journey to the dark, foreboding conflict on the universe’s most dangerous planet.
