Head of Features/COO Ankles Aardman Post

Stephen Moore, Aardman Animations' head of features/COO, has ankled his post now that his two-year contract is up, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Aardman co-founder David Sproxton will take over Moore's role in the company.

The former 20th Century Fox president of international was hired in January 2006 to help conclude Aardman's distribution deal with DreamWorks and secure a new agreement. In April 2007, Moore sealed an exclusive three-year, first-look deal with Sony Pictures.

Moore will move on to work on several projects he has in development.

MPC Goes Into Battle With You/Live Magazine

Traktor has directed MAIL ON SUNDAY'S new theatrical commercial for the weekly newspaper supplements YOU/LIVE MAGAZINE. The ad agency was BBH London and the post work was carried out at MPC. The comical ad, titled "Battle," centers around a GLADIATOR style battle scene appropriately set in the same location as the field seen in the opening sequence of the movie. The fight takes place between an army of men on one side and women on the other.

Leading longform post-production company Post Logic Studios has hired digital intermediate colorist Doug Delaney, who is best known for his work on the digital intermediate for THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING.
