After getting turned down at FOX, co-creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels have taken their series resurrection plans elsewhere, along with the original voice cast that includes Kathy Najimy and Pamela Adlon; still set in the fictional town of Arlen, Texas, the show takes place in present-day U.S.A.
The network orders two new seasons for each of the hugely popular Animation Domination series, all from 20th Television Animation, cementing the longest-running primetime animation block’s continued airing through the 2024-25 broadcast cycle.
Under the agreement, ‘The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’ director will develop animation and live-action content for Disney Television Animation and 20th Television Animation.
