The Academy Award and Emmy-nominated filmmaker discusses her 3-part DC docuseries that features over 60 new and archival interviews with the industry’s most prolific creators.
The three-part docuseries, co-directed by Leslie Iwerks and Mark Catalena, and narrated by Rosario Dawson, debuts on the streamer July 20.
The Council focuses on the science and technology of motion pictures, including preservation of its history, education, and industry standards; new members include industry veterans Paul Cameron, Paul Debevec, Tom Duffield, and Marlon West.
Presented by D23, the free livestream from Walt Disney Imagineering’s Glendate campus includes panel led by Leonard Maltin, with Bob Weis, Linda Folsom and Leslie Iwerks.
