The doctor is in… again, as Dr. Robotnik is back for the third installment of the ‘Sonic’ feature film franchise, set to hit theaters December 20.
The mini-series centered on Idris Elba’s dastardly red Echidna adds Adam Pally and Kid Cudi to a roster already packed with actors reprising their franchise roles; show premieres October 12, 2023 exclusively on Paramount+.
The short special will take place before the new game’s story begins, with Sonic rival Knuckles as its central character.
In a new spin-off series set to debut in 2023, Idris Elba will return to voice the red-furred rogue, who makes his first live-action appearance in ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’ coming this April.
