It’s official… George R.R. Martin’s long-awaited ‘Game of Thrones’ prequel series has taken flight, ready to incinerate hapless armies, helpless civilians, and eager TV screens in 2022.

Author teams with playwright Duncan MacMillan on stage play set 16 years prior to the now infamous book and HBO series, during The Great Tourney at Harrenhal, and may feature familiar characters.
Streamer expanding the GoT universe with ‘9 Voyages,’ ‘10,000 Ships,’ and a series set in Flea Bottom, in addition to ‘House of the Dragon,’ ‘The Tales of Dunk and Egg,’ and a rumored animated series.
The fantasy feature adaptation will star action darling Milla Jovovich and tough guy Dave Bautista, who will also produce.
The long-awaited prequel series begins production in April, and welcomes series regulars Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon, Rhys Ifans as Ser Otto Hightower, Eve Best as Princess Rhaenys Velaryon, and Sonoya Mizuno as Mysaria.
The rumored series is just one of many ‘GOT’ extended universe projects being considered for HBO Max, with no creative team currently on board.
The series will chronicle a sequence of novellas set about 90 years before the events of Game of Thrones, and will follow the exploits of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and a young Aegon V Targaryen (Egg).
The 11th Doctor Who is now set for winged battle as Daemon Targaryen, warrior and husband to Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, in George R.R. Martin’s upcoming HBO Max series.
