Marvel Studios just dropped a teaser trailer and poster for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The highly anticipated addition to the MCU, and sequel to studio’s 2016 hit, Doctor Strange, opens in U.S. theaters on May 6, 2022.

Swirling hands and magical pendants aside, the movie promises an exciting thrill ride through the Multiverse with Doctor Strange, his trusted friend Wong, and Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch.

The film is directed by Sam Raimi from a script written by Jade Halley Bartlett and Michael Waldron. The all-star cast features Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange; Benedict Wong; Rachel McAdams; Chiwetel Ejiofor; Elizabeth Olsen; and Xochitl Gomez.
