Jetpack Inks Deals to Distribute Large Animated Show Library Across Europe
Jetpack Distribution announced deals with 12 broadcast partners across Europe to bring 760 half hours of character-driven, animated, and mixed content shows from its catalog, including a broad range of TV series across all genres and age groups, to the following:
- The UK’s BBC Children has acquired VOD and TV rights for Spookiz The Movie and Oswaldo Season 1.
- The UK’s Sky has acquired Critters TV's VOD and TV rights.
- Denmark’s DR has acquired the VOD rights for Welcome to Cardboard City Seasons 1 and 2, the VOD and free TV rights for Chuggington Season 6, and VOD rights for Ladybird & Bee Seasons 1 and 2.
- Norway’s NRK has renewed the rights for (Dennis & Gnasher: Unleashed! Season 1, My Petsaurus Season 1 and 2, and acquired VOD and TV rights for Welcome to Cardboard City.
- IFC Media in the Czech Republic and Slovakia has bought pay TV rights for Chuggington Seasons 2-5, Kazoops, Mighty Little Bheem, My Petsaurus Seasons 1-5, and Spookiz (4 seasons).
- TV2 in Hungary has paid for TV and VOD rights for Emmy and Gooroo Season 1, Kitty Is Not a Cat Season 1, Ladybird & Bee Season 1, Wolf Seasons 1, Mighty Little Bheem, Spookley and the Christmas Kittens, and Spookley the Square Pumpkin.
- SIC (Sociedade Independente de Comunicação) in Portugal has acquired pay TV rights for Mechamato Season 1.
- Finland’s YLE has picked up the rights for Ladybird & Bee Season 1
- AMCNI CNE in Central & Northern Europe has bought the VOD and TV rights for Marsupilami Seasons 1-3 and Oswaldo for Minimax.
- TV Joj in Slovakia has picked up the TV and VOD rights for Critters TV Season 1, The Moe Show Seasons 1-4, Spookiz and Mechamato Season 1.
- Germany’s Studio Hamburg Enterprises GmbH has bought the TV and VOD rights for The Sisters Season 2).
- The Baltic Kidzone TV has paid for Hungarian VOD rights for Dennis & Gnasher: Unleashed! Seasons 1 and 2, Eliot Kid Seasons 1 and 2, Wolf Seasons 1 and 2, and Kitty is Not a Cat Season 1.
- Latvia’s LTV has picked up the rights for Chuggington Season 1 and the movie Yoko and His Friends.
