‘How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World’ Takes Home Two Top VoiceArts Awards
On Sunday, November 17, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World emerged as the big winner at the 6th annual VoiceArts Awards, presented by SOVAS (Society of Voice Arts & Sciences) at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California; the hit DreamWorks Animation film took home the two top awards for feature animation.
F. Murray Abraham was awarded Best Voiceover - Best Animation Character: Motion Picture. In a category dominated by Hidden World, the other nominees included Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Gerard Butler and Kristen Wiig.
In addition, the cast - Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, F. Murray Abraham, Cate Blanchett, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, Kit Harington, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill and Justin Rupple were awarded Outstanding Voiceover, Motion Picture Animation Cast/Ensemble. The other two films nominated were Toy Story 4 and Ralph Breaks the Internet (the SOVAS eligibility period is not based on calendar year).
