KELLS-director Tomm Moore is helming and is currently working on final storyboards. Moore co-wrote the script with Will Collins.
TV Paint will be used for the film. Moore told the trade the 3-D elements would have a pop-up book effect.
Optimum Releasing will release the film in the U.K. and Ireland.
The project is budgeted at €5.3 million ($7.4 million).
