European Animation Awards association gave out its inaugural awards in 16 categories spanning short films, television and features, Dec. 8 in Lille, France.
‘My Life as a Zucchini’ won the first Emile Award for best animated feature film.
The animated feature My Life as a Zucchini and the TV series Revolting Tales came out on top as the European Animation Awards announced Dec. 8 the winners of the first Emile Awards for achievement in animation in European productions.
My Life as a Zucchini won three honors in the feature category, including best feature, best writing and best soundtrack. The Red Turtle won two awards: best storyboard and best character animation.
In television categories, Revolting Tales won for best production and best character animation.
Winners were announced in 16 categories at the ceremony, held at Le Nouveau Siècle, in Lille, France.
