Dimension is in negotiations with Lake Bell (IT'S COMPLICATED), Ashley Greene (TWILIGHT), Hayden Panettiere (HEROES) and Rory Culkin (TWELVE) to join the cast of SCREAM 4, reports HEAT VISION.
Bell would play a cop who knew Neve Campbell's Sidney while in high school. Greene would take the role of Sidney's cousin Jill, the female lead. Panettiere would play Jill's nerdy film geek friend. Culkin would be Jill's love interest.
The new film puts Wes Craven back in the director's chair working from a script from Kevin Williamson. In addition to Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox will return. Williamson is already at work on a fifth installment. Craven and Williamson are producing with Iya Labunka.
Plot details are being keep top secret with actors and agents not even getting their hands on the script.
Dimension has set April 15, 2011 for the film's release.
A bit of controversy surrounding the film has original producer Cathy Konrad claiming she was left out of the new film and is suing the Weinsteins over the snub.
