Animation distributor GKIDS releases its much-lauded animated film ‘Wrinkles,’ directed by Ignacio Ferreras, on DVD, iTunes, On Demand and other digital platforms.
New York -- Animation distributor GKIDS released its much-lauded animated film Wrinkles on DVD, iTunes, On Demand and other digital platforms today, Tuesday, July 15.
Directed by Ignacio Ferreras, and based on the award-winning graphic novel by Paco Roca, Wrinkles made its U.S. theatrical premiere on July 4 to near-universal critical praise and was named a Critics’ Pick by both The New York Times and The Village Voice. The film features the voices of Martin Sheen (The West Wing, The Departed), Matthew Modine (The Dark Knight Rises, Weeds) and George Coe (Funny People, Archer).
In partnership with the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA), the film will be available for download and streaming at www.WrinklesFilm.com starting July 15, with 20% of gross sales from the website going to AFA, who provide care and services to individuals confronting dementia through over 1,700 member organizations. Visitors to the site will have the option of adding an additional donation to AFA with their purchase.
