Paris-based commercial animation production studio WIZZ Design has unveiled a new short film, The Mermaid, created for France’s volunteer lifeguard organization, SNSM.
Conceived by WIZZ directorial duo Flying V, The Mermaid presents a completely original 3D universe created especially for the project. Opting for almost cartoonish character designs and traditional keyframe animation, the film creates relatable characters while telling a witty impossible love story that aims to raises awareness and funds for SNSM's rescue efforts:
