Producer Brad Simpson has told ComingSoon.net that writers are already working on a sequel to DIARY OF A WIMPY KID. Titled RODICK RULES, the sequel will be based on the second book in the series. The story follows wise-cracking middle school student Greg Heffley as he and his brother Rodick prepare for the school talent show. Jeff Filgo, Jackie Filgo, Jeff Judah and Gabe Sachs penned the first film's screenplay.
