Wildcat Realizm Available for HP Workstation xw6000 & xw8000

3Dlabs two new AGP 8x-based professional graphics accelerators, Wildcat Realizm 100 and 200, are now certified and available for the HP Workstation xw6000 and xw8000. The Wildcat Realizm 100 and 200, which have been selected for the HP Tested & Certified Graphics Program, are available through HP channel partners worldwide.

The 3Dlabs Wildcat Realizm family of graphics accelerators has achieved top scores on the Viewperf benchmark and generated great excitement in the CAD and DCC space, said Jerry Peterson, evp/gm of 3Dlabs workstation division. By selecting Wildcat Realizm 100 and 200, HP is clearly setting itself apart from its competition and raising the stakes in workstation graphics.

With the addition of 3Dlabs Wildcat Realizm 100 and 200 graphics accelerators, HP is now able to offer more value to customers seeking powerful AGP 8x solutions.

To be selected for the HP Tested & Certified Graphics Program, 3Dlabs Wildcat Realizm 100 and 200 graphics accelerators have been functionality tested and fully certified on HP hardware. The certification process includes testing the graphics cards with an extensive suite of specialized applications to ensure that seamless compatibility is offered to HPs customers.

Wildcat Realizm 100 sells for $1,249 and the Wildcat Realizm 200 sells for $1,599. The latest Viewperf 8.0.1 benchmark scores can be located at www.spec.org.
