Women In Animation (WIA) hosts a workshop entitled Careers in Animation: A Reality Check!, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios, at 3100 Thorton Avenue (near the Burbank airport). This all-day workshop is geared towards helping students of all ages learn more about the career opportunities available in the animation industry. Panels include speakers from Walt Disney TV, DreamWorks SKG, Blue Sky, Rhythm and Hues, Klasky Csupo and Hyperion. Admission is $30 for WIA members, $35 for non-members. RSVP is essential.
