Whiteley To Shop For FremantleMedia Licensing Worldwide

Alice Whiteley has been appointed acquisitions and development director for FremantleMedia Licensing Worldwide (FLW), the licensing division of leading international television production company FremantleMedia. Based in the London office, she will be responsible for strengthening FremantleMedias catalog of intellectual property with strong licensing potential by acquiring, expanding or representing third-party brands.

In addition, Whiteley will look to invigorate classic FremantleMedia properties and in particular, kids properties, and drive new program ideas with ancillary potential. She will work closely with all divisions within FLW and reports to She is and reports to Natalie Tydeman, svp Business Diversification, FLW.

A consultant with FLW since November 2003, Whiteley was previously business development director at Ealing Family Entertainment where she developed the childrens media company start-up as part of a three-member executive management team. Prior to this, she was business development manager and head of marketing & pr for Ealing Studios following a two-year spell as business analyst at McKinsey & Co.

Alice has done a fantastic job since joining FremantleMedia Licensing Worldwide, commented Tydeman.
