Whedon, Super Size Director Team for Comic-Con Doc

SUPER SIZE ME director Morgan Spurlock is teaming with Joss Whedon, Stan Lee, Ain't It Cool News' Harry Knowles and Legendary Pictures' head Thomas Tull for the documentary, COMIC-CON EPISODE FOUR: A FAN'S HOPE, reports VARIETY.

SUPER SIZE ME director Morgan Spurlock is teaming with Joss Whedon, Stan Lee, Ain't It Cool News' Harry Knowles and Legendary Pictures' head Thomas Tull for the documentary, COMIC-CON EPISODE FOUR: A FAN'S HOPE, reports VARIETY.

The film will follow seven fans from around the globe as they prepare for Comic-Con, which takes place in San Diego on July 22-25.

Tull is ponying up is own cash to fund the production. He and Spurlock's Warrior Poets partner, Jeremy Chilnick, are producing. Whedon, Lee and Knowles are the exec producers.

Legendary Pictures is no stranger to Comic-Con favorite films, having produced CLASH OF THE TITANS, WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE, THE DARK KNIGHT, SUPERMAN RETURNS, WATCHMEN and 300.

Spurlock caught the Comic-Con bug last year when he went there to make the doc, THE SIMPSONS 20TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL: IN 3-D! ON ICE!
