Global kids distribution outfit TV-Loonland has a NATPE 2002 animation slate for children and youth. PONGWIFFY, DA MÖB and SOMETHING ELSE lead the catalogue. Produced by Loonland subsidiary Telemagination, and commissioned by UK broadcaster CITV, PONGWIFFY is an animated sitcom about a group of dysfunctional witches that targets 6 to 9 year-old kids. DA MÖB is a music-driven animation series for 8 to 14 year-olds. DA MÖB follows the daily antics of three youngsters who meet by mistake and, desperate for success, decide to form a rap band called DA MÖB despite zero experience and no real talent. The show mixes 2D and 3D animation with real life backgrounds. DA MÖB had its international debut on ABC Family in the U.S. in November 2001. Finally, SOMETHING ELSE is an animated series for a 5 to 8 year-old audience. SOMETHING ELSE is based on the award-winning childrens book of the same title by Kathryn Cave and Chris Riddell and could be described as THE ODD COUPLE meets DR. SEUSS.
